The Semi-Autonomous Converter System was a set of mechanical objects used by Sidonia to harness the power of Lem's star.

Designed to harness the power of Lem's star, the first converter was put into place during Mizuki's shakedown cruise. Deployed by Mizuki and guided into place by Nagate and Tsumugi, the converter orbits Lem's star, gathering energy to be eventually used by Sidonia.
